The MetaCommunications Engineering Team is made up
of individuals working at engineering centers in Iowa City, Iowa
and St. Petersburg, Russia.
Team members come to MetaCommunications from unique backgrounds and with
diverse areas of expertise. All team members
participate in the development process and share in the
success of engineering efforts.
These
efforts are broadly characterized by Agile Programming methods and
techniques (including pair programming, unit testing, collective code
ownership, open communication and interaction, etc). Collectively we share a desire
to create great products, and to do so in a way that
broadens the experience and knowledge of all
contributors while delighting our customers. We believe
that successful teams are not groups or herds of people
to be managed, but are
comprised of individuals who collectively share a
vision, passion, and desire for quality and success.
To help ensure members have the opportunity for
professional growth, the Engineering Team sponsors
seminars and discussions, encourages
publication by its members, and hosts public
projects of use to the broader programming
community.
